Your technology tags connect your booth to the rest of the site.
How the link works
The library and the directory use the same technology list. When a visitor reads a paper on, say, horizontal directional drilling, they see corporate members tagged with HDD beside it. When they visit your booth, they see library content relevant to your technologies. The connection runs both ways, automatically.
Select technologies on the Technologies tab under Edit booth. You can choose up to 40.
Choosing well
- Select what you deliver, not what you'd like to. Visitors will contact you on the strength of it.
- Be specific. If you do CIPP lining, select that rather than only the broader rehabilitation group.
- Include supporting work such as condition assessment or locating, where it's a real part of your offer. Services the list doesn't cover, such as equipment supply, belong on the Services tab.
- Review it once a year, or when your services change.
The technology list
The list follows ISTT's classification of trenchless techniques, grouped under New Installation, Rehabilitation, and Investigation / Assessment. If a technology you deliver is missing, email secretary@astt.com.au.
