Setting up your booth, step by step

The seven things to update, in order of importance. About 20 minutes.

Steps 1 to 4 matter most. The rest can follow when you have time. Steps 1 to 4 and 6 are tabs under Edit booth in the booth dashboard.

1. Logo and profile

On the Profile tab, upload your logo. A PNG or SVG with a transparent background, cropped tight and at least 500 pixels wide, works best (JPG and WebP are accepted too, up to 5 MB). Then write your tagline and a short summary: two or three sentences on who you are and where you work. Plain language reads better than brochure copy.

2. Technologies

On the Technologies tab, select every technology you genuinely deliver (up to 40). This is the most important step: it decides where you appear in directory searches and which library papers you're shown beside. See Choosing your technologies.

3. Contact details

On the Contact tab, add the email, phone number and website where you want enquiries to go. Use a shared inbox rather than one person's address if you can. You can also add a WhatsApp number.

4. Projects

On the Projects tab, add one or two recent projects, each with a photo and a few lines: what, where, which method, and what made it interesting. Projects build credibility faster than a list of capabilities.

5. Editors

Invite a colleague so the booth doesn't depend on one person. See Adding editors.

6. Brochures, photos and video

Add whatever you'd hand someone at a trade-show stand: PDFs on the Downloads tab, photos on the Gallery tab, and a YouTube or Vimeo link under Video introduction on the Profile tab.

7. Jobs

Post open roles from Jobs in the booth dashboard. See Posting a job.

When do changes go live?

Straight away. ASTT doesn't review individual edits; what you save appears on your booth.

The Dashboard shows your booth's status. A new booth that isn't public yet shows Pending review by ASTT staff, and a live one shows Live on the public directory. If ASTT staff ask for changes, you'll see ASTT staff left feedback on your booth with their notes.

Works on your phone

The booth dashboard works on a phone, so you can add a project photo straight from site.
