HDI Lucas is a Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) company providing services to the oil and gas, energy, water and wastewater, property and telecommunications sectors in Australia and Asia Pacific. HDI Lucas was formed following Spiecapag Australia’s acquisition of the Lucas Engineering and Construction Pty Limited business. Spiecapag and Lucas have a long history of successful project delivery together. HDI Lucas draws on the resources and experience its sister company, HDI. HDI is an internationally recognised HDD & Direct Pipe contractor, headquartered in France but with divisions in Brazil, Mexico and now Australia. HDI Lucas has pioneered HDD in Australia and is the largest HDD contractor in the region. It has completed HDD contracts in China, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Indonesia and every state of Australia.
